Come Join the Copenhagen International Rotary Club (CIRC) trip to Israel.
Itinerary:
Arrival: Thursday, April 2 -- welcome dinner with Rotary Club of Herzliya.
Day 1: Friday, April 3 -- tour Tel Aviv with emphasis on its modern architecture
Day 2: Saturday, April 4 -- tour Bethlehem. Dinner with the Rotary Club of Bethlehem
Day 3: Sunday, April 5 -- tour Jerusalem.
Day 4: Monday, April 6 -- tour Masada, and Dead Sea spa day
Day 5: Tuesday, April 7 -- depart
Our program will include a briefing at the Israeli embassy in Copenhagen. Each participant will be responsible for purchasing his/her own airfare. Norwegian Air offers nonstop flights from Copenhagen to Tel Aviv on Thursdays and from Tel Aviv to Copenhagen on Tuesdays. The tour will include interactions with at least the two Rotary clubs listed above, one Israeli and one Palestinian. This trip will be great historically and culturally, a truly interesting experience. Spouses/Partners/Friends of Rotarians are encouraged to join. We are in the process of working with our partner Rotary clubs to identify nice hotels that are in the 900-1200 kroner per night range. All touring costs will be divided equally among all participants.
